Holidays with little kids is simply magical. In Henrietta’s eyes, everything is so new and exciting which is contagious and gives me a renewed spirit as we celebrate together. It was a gloomy, rainy day today so what perfect time to warm up our home with some baking with my girl! We are just days away from Easter so we decided to make Easter cupcakes. We had so much fun stirring, tasting a decorating our sweet treats. Arthur stayed awake during the fun so id like to think he had a good time with us as well!
Henrietta is still pretty young (20 months) to understand the true meaning of Easter but she does know who Jesus is and that He loves her very much. I think thats a pretty good start 🙂 We will continue to teach her just how much Jesus loves her, so much that He sent his only son to die for her. No matter how old I get, I don’t know if I will ever fully grasp that truth. The tomb is empty, HE IS RISEN!
